Zena has relished the challenge of less traditional nursing roles throughout her career but always has a keen focus on improving the quality of life for people living with dementia, their families and carers. Zena is a keen advocate for the Herbert Protocol and raising awareness of positive risk-taking which is how she came across John’s work relating to safe and found online a few years ago and why she has agreed to join S&F as a Specialist Board Advisor. Zena holds a portfolio of roles due to her varied areas of special interest in relation to dementia care and support.
